What's your property worth?

Before seeking the opinion of a Real Estate Agent, you can do some initial homework of your own to find a range in which the value of your property might sit.

When your home is on the market, there are several sites that buyers will go to before they visit your home:

Then buyers will compare:

  • what they've seen at your place,

  • others they've seen on the market, and

  • the price ranges they've seen on these web sites:

So, it's a good idea to know what the buyers are going to be wieghing up.  You can also check the Auckland Council rating value of your property (effective 1 JUN 2021) on their Property Information site here: Council Value. Some buyers and their banks still like to use this as a reference point, so it's good to know how that comares to the other reference sites.

Then you can talk to any of the team at our Glen Eden or Titirangi offices about how to get your home sold at or better than the high end of those price ranges.
